“12 Poems” was put together as the first chapbook of OgFOMK ArTS. All of the poetry is by Alex Nuttall. There was only one run, so it is pretty rare. I think there are 100 copies.
This was a decent release where I was using a computer (Tandy 1000SL) instead of a type-writer. I just printed my words using a dot-matrix printer and then I cut and pasted as I did my previous ‘zines. I also learned a little about “half-tone” and it’s relationship to printing with the Xerox machine. I didn’t learn enough.
Digital publishing was still out of my reach.
One fond memory I had of this was that I used to see Beefcake of GWAR at the Village Cafe. I gave him a copy. A few days later he saw me and said that he liked the chapbook.
I lived on Allen Ave. between Broad Street and Cary. The PO BOX is no longer in use by me so don’t send anything to it.
This is a historical document so I don’t want to hear about what is right or wrong with it. I could care less what you think. It took guts to print it and it took time. Of course if you liked it I will thank you now.
This is available for free (For the time being).
